These mouthwatering Bacon Cheeseburger Bites are a fun twist on the traditional burger. Perfect for a party appetizer, weekend lunch or even dinner!
My husband is obsessed with burgers and is always trying to get me to make them, his ideal date night is going to get burgers LOL. I never used to be a crazy burger fanatic until recently. Now, I love a good burger with all of the yummy toppings like bacon, cheese, grilled onions etc. but sometimes I feel guilty after eating them because they can make you feel so heavy. The best burger I’ve ever had is probably between this restaurant here called Ace No. 3 and crazy but true…Cookout. Yes, Cookout specifically the Double Bacon Cheeseburger with grilled onions, lettuce, and light mayonnaise. haha. If you’re from the south then you’re familiar with cookout, and how good it is! Mmh.
Ok, back to the bites. I loved making these Bacon Cheeseburger Bites, they were super easy to make and taste the bomb. They didn’t have me feeling all full and heavy like I usually do when eating burgers. Once I prepared the ground beef, the process was pretty seamless after that.

- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbalespoon Worcestershire sauce, as needed
- Canola oil for frying, as needed
- 1 Large Egg
- 2-3 Cups Bread crumbs, as needed
For the Sauce
- ½ Cup Mayonnaise
- 2 Tablespoons Ketchup, as needed
- ½-1 Tablespoon Adobo Pepper Suace, as needed (Can use the can with adobo peppers and just use the sauce and store the peppers in the fridge)
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder, as needed
- ½-1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, as needed
- Kosher salt and black pepper, as needed
Instructions
- Place breadcrumbs on a plate and beaten egg in shallow bowl, set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Montreal Steak seasoning, paprika and chili powder. Once the beef starts to brown add in onions and Worcestershire sauce. Continue cooking until beef is no longer pink, adjust seasonings if necessary.
- Remove pan from the heat and pour beef mixture in a large bowl. Let cool down for about 7-10 minutes so that it’s not piping hot.
- Add cooked chopped bacon, pickles, shredded cheese and cream cheese to the bowl and mix well.
- Using a cookie scoop, scoop mix and place bites on a sheet tray and place in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes.
- While the bites are in the fridge, prepare your sauce by mixing all of the sauce ingredients together, adjust seasonings as necessary and place in the fridge until needed.
- In a deep pot add about 1 ½-2 Cups of Canola oil over medium heat.
- Remove the bites from the fridge and quickly coat in the beaten egg mixture (don’t soak) then roll in the breadcrumb mix, shake off any excess breadcrumbs. Continue steps until all of the bites are coated. Set aside.
- When the oil is hot enough for frying, fry the bites in small batches until golden brown (be careful not to overload the pot) and place on a plate lined with paper towels once complete.
- Serve with sauce, enjoy!
