Hi and welcome! My name is Elizabeth- the chef, recipe developer and sometimes photographer. I’m a food enthusiast with an appetite for almost anything and nothing makes me feel more relaxed than being in the kitchen. I try to cook things that are practical, exciting, and just taste good!
My passion for food began as fascination with watching my grandmother cook. I loved how she was always so creative and could take a few simple ingredients and turn it into something amazing! I’d always sit in the kitchen and ask a ton of questions. I’ve always had a passion for cooking but didn’t decide to pursue it. It wasn’t until after receiving my bachelor’s degree in political science that made me realize going to law school wasn’t my passion. I panicked because I had no idea what I was going to do for the rest of my life. I had to do some serious soul searching which lead me back to my passion for food. Fast forward to a couple of months later, I packed my things to head to culinary school at Johnson & Wales University.
Even when I was in High School, I would always have my friends and cheermates over just so that I could cook for them. I’ve always felt like homemade food was more personal because it gives you the opportunity to be creative and express yourself! While pursing my degree in Culinary Arts, I had the opportunity to work with some very talented Chefs! In such a short period of time I learned more about gourmet foods and presentation. So here I am – sharing all of my delicious recipes that I’ve made for my clients, private parties, friends, and family. As a Personal Chef, I am able to use my passion and skills to prepare fun, energetic, and vibrant dishes! My goal is to create delicious meals that my clients can enjoy everyday..even the little ones!
