Hi and welcome! My name is Elizabeth- the chef, recipe developer, photographer wife and a mama of two! I’m a food enthusiast with an appetite for almost anything and nothing makes me feel more relaxed than being in the kitchen. I try to cook things that are practical, exciting, and just taste good!
I’ve always had a passion for food but never really considered that I could actually turn it into a career. It wasn’t until after receiving my bachelor’s degree in political science that made me realize going to law school wasn’t what I wanted to do at all. I panicked because I had no idea what I was going to do for the rest of my life. I had to do some serious soul searching which lead me back to my passion for food. Fast forward to a couple of months later, I packed my things to head to culinary school at Johnson & Wales University.
While pursing my degree in Culinary Arts, I had the opportunity to work with some very talented Chefs! In such a short period of time I learned more about gourmet foods and presentation. The crazy thing is I never had any intention on ever starting a food blog. I actually worked as a Personal Chef for years for some amazing clients. However, as time progressed and I started to cook more frequently and posting more on social media so many friends and family encouraged me to take it further and do more. So here I am – sharing all of my delicious recipes that I’ve made for past clients, private parties, friends, and family. I can truly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
As a Chef, I am able to use my passion and skills to prepare fun, energetic, and vibrant dishes! My goal is to create delicious meals that anyone can enjoy everyday..even the little ones!
