One Pot Philly Cheese Steak Pasta has all the great flavor of the original Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches that we all know and love but in a quick, creamy and cheesy pasta dish that the everyone will love. It doesn’t get much easier than that!
I’m not sure what your family’s go-to comfort food is, but in house it’s definitely pasta! We LOVE it in all shapes, with any sauces, baked or straight off the stovetop. Pasta is typically pretty easy to make and makes great leftovers… you know pasta always taste better the next day!
Who else hates doing a ton of dishes and loves those one pot meals? I live for those type of meals because its less time spent in the kitchen and less time washing dishes which is a win in my book.
TIPS FOR MAKING ONE POT PHILLY CHEESE STEAK PASTA:
- Don’t worry, it may look like you’re adding too much liquid but trust me, you’re not.The liquid will reduce and once you add in the pasta it will absorb a good amount of the cream sauce.
- Make sure you’re using the right pan. I typically like to use a deeper sauté pan or a braising pan instead of a deep pot.
- Be sure to stir often and keep an eye on the cream sauce. You don’t want the cheese to stick to the bottom or the cream sauce to over flow- no one wants that!
- Buy the correct cut of steak. This is the BIGGEST tip, because if you get the wrong cut of steak it could turn out chewy and just ruin the entire dish.
