This refreshing Pineapple Mango Lemonade combines mango, sweet pineapple, and tangy lemon juice. It’s the perfect vibrant and fruity drink for summer!

I was taking a look at my blog and realized that I didn’t really have any drink recipes up here for you guys, so I wanted to change that by starting to make more refreshing and fun drinks! This Pineapple Mango Lemonade is bright, refreshing, and packed with tropical flavor. It’s the perfect drink recipe to start with, and is perfect for parties or if you just want to make a fun drink on the weekend and hang outside. The frozen mango keeps the drink colder longer without having to add additional ice which can dilute the drink.
WHY THIS LEMONADE IS WORTH MAKING
- Bursting with flavor: This lemonade is nothing short of amazing. The sweet pineapple/ mango flavor combo pairs perfectly with the tartness from the lemon juice. It’s refreshing without being overly sweet.
- Easy to make: This is such an easy drink recipe to make and it comes together pretty quick. You could even opt for frozen pineapple to save on even more time. No complicated steps involved.
- Perfect for summer entertaining: Whether you’re hosting, or relaxing by the pool this drink will always be a hit. You can make it in the morning, bottle it up and take it with you to the pool.
- Easily Customizable: You can totally make a few simple tweaks to make it your own.
- Add sparkling water to give it some bubbles.
- Add in mint for extra flavor.
- Turn it into a cocktail with your favorite tequila or rum.
- Adjust the sweetness to your liking.
I also love to pair this drink with my Chipotle Mango Jerk Wings.
TIPS WHEN MAKING FRESH PINEAPPLE MANGO LEMONADE
- Use ripe fresh fruit: The flavor of the lemonade in my opinion is determined by the quality of the fruit that you are using. If you are using all fresh fruit instead of frozen mango then you will want to choose mangoes that are slightly soft with a sweet aroma, and pineapples that have a golden color and smell sweeter. The riper your fruit, the sweeter and more flavorful your lemonade will be without needing to add a ton of extra sugar.
- Good quality lemon juice: If you don’t feel like juicing a couple of lemons then you can definitely use good quality lemon juice like I did. This gives the drink a nice balance.
- Blend until smooth: For the best texture, you will want to blend everything until completely smooth. If you prefer an even finer texture then you can pour everything through a mesh strainer but I don’t think that’s really worth it as long as you follow the instructions above.
- Chill before serving: This is super important to let the drink chill in the fridge for about 30ish minutes, because it gives the flavors of the Lemonade a chance to come together. It makes the drink taste even better!
- Ice: Only add ice just before serving so you don’t accidentally water down your drink!
HOW DO I CUT A FRESH PINEAPPLE?
If you decide to use fresh pineapple, don’t feel intimidated. It’s actually easier than it looks.
- First you will want to start by slicing off the top and bottom of the pineapple so it can sit flat on the cutting board.
- Then, carefully cut away the outer skin in strips from top to bottom. If any of the small brown parts remain, then simply trim them off with your knife. No biggie.
- Next, slice the pineapple into quarters lengthwise and remove the tough inner core from each piece. From there, cut the fruit into smaller chunks, and it’s ready to add to your blender.
